Authorities identified 29-year-old Kristen Taylor, from Walker, as the woman who lost her life following a single-vehicle accident Wednesday morning in Lafourche Parish.
As per the initial information, the fatal car crash was reported a little before 7:00 a.m. on LA Highway 308 near Amoco Road. The preliminary reports revealed that 29-year-old Kristen Taylor was traveling north on LA 308 in a Kia Optima when her car drifted off the roadway in a left curve for undetermined reasons.
After that, the car slammed into a utility pole. The woman was reportedly buckled up at the time of the collision. Kristen Taylor reportedly succumbed to her injuries just after arriving at an area hospital. No other details are made available.
The crash remains under investigation.
