The Metropolitan Police Department responded to a motorcycle crash east on Russell Road heading to Torrey Pines Drive at 11:25 a.m. on Sunday.
According to the police, a 28-year-old motorcyclist was riding a Suzuki GSX-R750. According to police, a Porsche Carrera heading west on Russell Road crossed the path of travel of the Suzuki as it approached the intersection of Torrey Pines Drive. It hit the front of the Porsche with the front of the motorcycle.
Rhiannon Nichole Sacks was identified as the motorcyclist by the Clark County coroner’s office on Monday. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Porsche driver, Sheridan Beaulieu, remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment. She was not injured in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
