On Monday, a bicycle crash claimed the life of 28-year-old Corey James Been in Cedar Park.
As per the initial information, the fatal two-vehicle accident took place at about 11:50 a.m. at the intersection of South Bell Boulevard and East Little Elm. Officers actively responded to a call of a collision involving a vehicle and a bicyclist.
On arrival, responders found a bicyclist later identified as 28-year-old Corey James Been. Medics rushed him to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, authorities reported. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unknown at this time.
The incident is under investigation.
