28-Year-Old Brooke Murphy Died In A Motorcycle Crash In DeKalb County (DeKalb County, TN)

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, a motorcycle collision was reported in DeKalb County on Saturday. 

The officials stated that the crash occurred when a woman, Brooke Murphy, 28, of Antioch, was travelling southbound on Dale Ridge Road over Center Hill Dam.  

Murphy was attempting to curve when she struck another vehicle which was travelling northbound. 

Murphy collided with the Center Hill Dam concrete barrier and went over the motorcycle’s handlebars and landed in the lake, stated the officials. 

She was pronounced dead at the scene by the THP officials. 

No additional information is available regarding the cause of the collision. 

The THP has not released any information on other casualties.
