28-Year-Old Brian Heath Died After A Car Crash On Old Savannah Road (Augusta, GA)

Police pursuit led to a car crash, killing an Aiken, South Carolina man. 

The victim was identified as 28-year-old Brian Heath, driving on Old Savannah road. 

The crash happened when Richmond County Sheriff’s Deputies were in pursuit of a car. 

The suspect’s car collided with Heath’s near Roselle Street. 

Heath was extricated from his vehicle. He was pronounced dead on the scene. 

The Augusta Fire Department and Gold Cross EMS responded to the scene. 

The crash is now being investigated by the Georgia State Police.
