27-year-old Steven Duenas died after a motorcycle crash in Port Arthur (Port Arthur, TX)

Authorities identified 27-year-old Steven Duenas as the victim who was killed following a two-vehicle accident Monday morning in Port Arthur.

The officers actively responded to the 2000 block of State Highway 73 just before 6 a.m. on reports of a motorcycle crash. The preliminary reports showed that the driver of a pickup truck failed to yield right of way and pulled out in front of a motorcycle, resulting in the collision.

The motorcyclist died as a result of the accident. The motorcycle rider was identified as 27-year-old Steven Duenas of Port Arthur. It is unknown if the incident caused any other injuries. No further details are available.

An investigation is ongoing.
