The Corpus Christi Police Department responded to a wrong-way crash on the Harbor Bridge. The victim was identified as Mathew Adam Banda, 27.
According to the police, the southbound lanes of the Harbor Bridge were shut down after a crash.
A 35-year-old wrong-way driver hit Mandujano’s car head-on as she was driving into Corpus Christi with Banda, according to Sheriff Oscar Rivera.
Two counts of intoxication manslaughter and one count of intoxication assault will be filed against the woman.
Currently, her name is not being released since she is being treated at a local hospital for her injuries. Upon her release, her identity will be revealed, police said.
