27-year-old Denelle Havercroft dead after a two-car collision in Iosco County (Tawas City, MI)

Officials identified 27-year-old Denelle Havercroft, a resident of Greenbush, as the woman who lost her life following a two-car collision on Sunday just south of Tawas City.

As per the initial information, the fatal car crash took place at around 10:25 a.m. The preliminary investigation showed that a 2020 Toyota Corolla driven by a 31-year-old Hinsdale man went over the centerline after the driver failed to maintain control of his car and crashed into a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica, driven by a 69-year-old Alanson man.

A passenger in the Corolla, Denelle Havercroft, succumbed to her injuries as a result of the accident while both drivers and a passenger in the Pacifica were shifted to local hospitals with unspecified injuries. No other information has been released.

The incident remains under investigation.
