Authorities identified 27-year-old Christopher Holmes as the man who lost his life following a traffic accident on June 25 in Big Spring.
The fatal motorcycle crash took place at 11:18 p.m. in the 1500 block of E. 4th. According to the investigation reports, Holmes was heading eastbound in the 1500 block of E. 4th when he failed to control his speed.
The motorcycle drifted off the roadway and struck the curb. The man succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Holmes was reportedly not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. No other details are made available.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
