Authorities identified 27-year-old Christian Joseph Boutros as the man who lost his life following a traffic collision on May 4 in northeast Austin.
The fatal motorcycle crash took place at 7:48 p.m. in the 7100 block of N. Interstate 35. That is near St. Johns Avenue and south of East Anderson Lane/U.S. Highway 183. According to the investigation reports, Joseph Boutros was thrown from his motorcycle as a result of the accident.
Once emergency responders arrived, they performed CPR on Boutros. He suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene by the officials. No other details are made available.
The crash remains under review.
