According to the Taylor Police, a motor vehicle accident was reported on Wednesday morning.
The officials stated that 26-year-old Mario David Salinas Rodriguez was traveling in a black GMC pickup truck on the 3300 block of County Road 101 when he failed to yield to the right way at the stop sign.
Following this, Rodriguez crossed into traffic on Chandler Road and struck a semi-trailer truck traveling east on Chandler Road.
The officials reported that the collision led to a fuel spill.
Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene by the officials.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Police.
