The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Hood County.
Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety looked into a collision on Farm-to-Market Road 2580, which is located five miles from Granbury at around 6:23 a.m.
26-year-old Joshua T. Burleson from Azle was crossing the road and was struck by a 2005 Chevrolet Impala driven by a 54-year-old Granbury resident while it was moving south on FM 2580.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver was unharmed.
The crash is being investigated by the police.
No additional information available regarding the fatal crash.
