According to the Phoenix Police, a pedestrian accident was reported on Tuesday.
The officials stated that a pedestrian was struck by a car near 19th Avenue and Camelback Road at around 10:45 p.m.
The officials identified the pedestrian as 25-year-old Cedric Martinez.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by the deputies.
The officials are investigating the crash to determine whether drugs, alcohol or reckless driving was the factor involved in the crash.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided.
