24-Year-Old Pedestrian Died In A Motor vehicle Crash In Tucson (Tucson, AZ)

The Tucson Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Sunday. The crash happened at the intersection of East Fairmount Street and  North Craycroft Road.

A 24-year-old  pedestrian was attempting to cross Craycroft when a white 2018 Nissan Altima, traveling south, entered the median lane and struck him, according to traffic detectives who spoke to witnesses and gathered evidence.

The victim passed away after being taken to a nearby hospital. Their identity has not been disclosed by the authorities. 

The Nissan’s driver stopped right away and helped the authorities. The authorities have confirmed that the driver was not impaired at the time of the accident.

According to the authorities, the pedestrian’s death was caused in part by his jaywalking. No further details regarding the fatal crash are available currently.
