The Fresno County Coroner reported a motor vehicle crash on Tuesday early morning. The accident happened north of Selma.
The Kia Soul being driven by a 23-year-old man lost control and struck a utility pole, a parked car, and then a concrete retaining wall. The CHP reported that the driver and 24-year-old woman, Kassandra Gaona were both ejected from the car.
Gaona died at Community Regional Medical Centre after being taken there with the other occupant. The extent of the injuries incurred by the occupant
It is unsure whether drugs or alcohol were a factor involved. The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials. No other details are available currently.
