According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a motor vehicle accident was reported in Tonopah on Monday afternoon.
Officials reported that a woman was injured after 24-year-old Alberto Sebastian Medina rammed into her car twice on Interstate 10.
Officials responded to a call by the woman regarding some danger. The woman was being chased by Medina and finally, both the vehicles came to stop in a median.
Witnesses stated that both vehicles were traveling at a high rate of speed during the crash.
The injured woman was taken to the hospital for treatment of her injuries.
The officials did not reveal the identity of the woman.
DPS investigated the crash and booked Medina on one count each of second-degree attempted murder, aggravated assault, endangerment, and criminal damage.
