According to the Police, two separate hit-and-run crashes occurred early Saturday.
The officials first reported the case at 3:46 a.m. The officers reported to the 2400 block of Church Lane after a collision took place involving a bicyclist and a vehicle.
A 57-year-old man was found lying on the road. He was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, reported the Police.
The car fled the scene before the officials arrived.
Another crash was reported including a blue 2014 Honda Civic driving in the wrong lanes on northbound San Pablo Avenue near Robert H. Miller Drive.
The Honda struck a Cadillac sedan head-on.
The Cadillac driver suffered moderate injuries,
Greenwood has been booked by Contra Costa County Jail on charges of felony hit and run and vehicle manslaughter. The use of alcohol or drugs may be a factor involving the crash.
