According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle accident occurred in San Diego on Sunday. The crash happened on Interstate 805. 

According to the investigators, an unknown motorcycle and a 23-year-old were involved in the collision. The motorcyclist traveling northbound was ejected from the motorcycle over the center divider and landed in an embankment.

The officials stated that the motorcyclist suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The San Diego Police Department did not reveal the identity and the name of the unknown deceased person. 

According to the reports, it is unclear what caused the crash and if drugs or alcohol were a factor involved. Additional information regarding the fatal crash is not available.
