Officials from the California Highway Patrol state that a 23-year-old was driving his Ford Fiesta south when he drifted into the centre median and flipped multiple times sometime over the weekend. The incident took place at 2 AM.
Following the crash, the driver sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators suspect that impairment was a factor and that alcohol was involved in the crash. However, the fatal accident is still being investigated.
