23-Year-Old Man Died In A Pedestrian Accident In Knoxville (Knoxville, TN)

According to the Knoxville Police Department, a pedestrian accident was reported in downtown Knoxville on Sunday morning. 

The officials reported that a 23-year-old man was struck by a vehicle heading towards Henley Street. 

The victim was transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center where he was declared dead by the authorities. 

The officials reported that the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. 

The officials did not reveal the identity of the victim. 

No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the officials. 

Police are yet to confirm whether drugs, alcohol, or reckless driving was the factor involved in the crash.
