23-Year-Old Jaahnavi Kandula Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Seattle (Seattle, WA)

The Seattle Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Monday night.

A woman was struck by an officer who was attending to a priority one emergency call with the Seattle Fire Department. 23-year-old Jaahnavi Kandula was the woman, according to the King County Medical Examiner’s Office, which also determined that multiple blunt force injuries were the cause of death.

Police have declined to identify the officer and have not provided any information about how the incident took place. 

The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. No further details regarding the crash are available currently.
