22-Year-Old Woman Injured In A Motorcycle Accident In Berkeley (Berkeley, CA)

According to the Berkeley Police, a motorcycle accident occurred in Southside Berkeley on Saturday. 

The officials stated that a 22-year-old woman suffered severe head injuries in a crash on College Avenue and Channing Way. 

The officials reported that a 67-year-old Emeryville man was traveling southbound on College Avenue in a Toyota Prius. He collided with a scooter heading west on Channing Way. 

The preliminary investigation revealed that drugs and alcohol were not the factors involved in the crash. 

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the Berkeley Police Department, 

Police have not determined the cause of the fatal crash as of Tuesday.
