Authorities identified 22-year-old Miguel Rivara, of Granada Hills, as the man who was killed following a two-vehicle collision on Saturday in Santa Clarita.
As per the initial information, the fatal motorcycle crash was reported at approximately 5:13 a.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway at 14 Freeway. The early reports revealed that Rivara’s motorcycle crashed into a semi-truck for reasons that are yet to be known.
It is unknown if the motorcycle rider died at the scene or at a hospital. The events that have led up to the deadly accident also remain unclear at this time. No additional information has been provided.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
