The Washington State Patrol reported a motor vehicle crash in the Salmon Creek area on Saturday late at night. The accident happened on Interstate 205 close to 134th Street at around 10 p.m.
According to WSP, Mark S Svirzhevskiy,22 was traveling at a high rate of speed on a 2015 Yamaha FX09 motorcycle when he hit the back of a 2022 Honda SUV.
Svirzhevskiy, who was wearing a helmet, was ejected and landed on the left shoulder of the freeway. He died at the scene.
The Honda was driven by Cansas S. Agee of Happy Valley, Oregon, who had four passengers — Zachary J. Agee and three children whose names were not released. Everyone in the Honda was wearing a seatbelt. No one in the Honda was injured.
WSP is investigating if drugs or alcohol were involved in the fatal crash.
