Authorities identified 22-year-old Fernando Flores Medrano as the man who lost his life following a single-vehicle accident on April 30 in Carson City.
The fatal car crash took place at 4:12 a.m. on Interstate 580. According to the investigation reports, Fernando Flores Medrano, from Carson City, was driving a black 2010 Subaru Legacy south on I-580 at the north end of Carson City when the car swerved off the right side of the road and struck the jersey wall.
After that, the vehicle continued left across the highway, collided with the inside guardrail and then crashed into the cable barrier in the median. Due to the impact, Fernando Flores Medrano was ejected from the car. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene. No other details are made available.
The crash remains under review.
