22-year-old Christian Williams died and 2 juveniles injured in a car crash; intoxication suspected (Rapides Parish, LA)

Police believe that intoxication may have played a part in a Saturday morning car crash that killed 22-year-old Christian Williams and injured two juveniles.

Christian Williams, a 22-year-old Leesville resident, suffered major injuries as a result of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident occurred just before 6:30 a.m. on Louisiana Highway 121 near Louisiana Highway 463.

Williams was heading southbound when he veered off of the highway, slamming into a tree. He wasn’t wearing a seatbelt at the time of collision. His two juvenile passengers received moderate injuries in the crash. A toxicology sample from the scene has been submitted for analysis.

An investigation is ongoing at this time.
