Authorities identified 22-year-old Carla Maria Perez-Mendoza, from Ducor, as the woman who lost her life following a traffic accident Thursday morning in Richgrove.
As per the initial information, the fatal single-vehicle crash took place near the intersection of Avenue 24 and Richgrove Drive. The preliminary investigation showed that Carla Maria Perez-Mendoza was driving a vehicle that veered off the road and rolled over.
She was declared dead at 6:59 a.m. at Adventist Health Delano as the result of injuries she suffered in the crash. It is unknown if the incident caused any other injuries. No further details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
