According to the California Highway Police, a multi-vehicle accident occurred in Kerman on Saturday.
The crash happened near Kerman, west of Fresno, at around 9 p.m.
The officials stated that a 2003 Honda and a 2017 Acura were involved in the crash.
According to the investigators, the Honda veered into the lane, directly into the path of the Acura, and crashed.
A 21-year-old lady was identified and later pronounced dead at the scene following the collision.
The 4 passengers of the car suffered major injuries and were hospitalized.
The driver of the Honda was arrested on the suspicion of DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
No additional information regarding the crash was provided by the Deputies.
