21-year-old Srae Wagner and 19-year-old Kimberly Polson died after a hit-and-run crash in Baton Rouge (Baton Rouge, LA)

Authorities identified 21-year-old Srae Wagner and 19-year-old Kimberly Polson as the victims who lost their lives after being hit by a vehicle Thursday in Baton Rouge.

The fatal hit-and-run accident took place at about 1:30 a.m. on Lobdell Avenue near Jefferson Highway. The early reports showed that a vehicle struck the pedestrians and left the scene before the arrival of responding officers.

Both victims succumbed to their injuries at the scene. No details are available regarding the suspect or the hit-and-run vehicle. No further information is available.
