The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Jesup on Sunday.
The collision involved only one vehicle.
The accident happened in Wayne County close to Hinson Moseley Road.
Samuel Hargrove, age 21, was driving a 2011 Chevy Silverado south on Sunset Boulevard when he lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree.
Hargrove was transported to a local hospital, where he was declared dead.
It is unsure what caused the crash and how it happened.
Whether drugs or alcohol were involved in a crash is yet to be found.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials.
