According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a motor vehicle accident occurred in Bell County on Sunday. The crash happened on Interstate 14 at around 2:20 a.m.
According to the investigators, a 2005 Chevrolet Suburban SUV and a 21-year-old were involved in the collision. The driver of the Chevrolet crashed into the grass, rolled multiple times, and caught on fire.
21-year-old Martin Armando Landin Ariza was identified as the driver who suffered significant injuries and was pronounced dead. It is not clear if there were other people involved in the accident.
According to the reports, it is unclear what caused the crash and if drugs or alcohol were a factor involved. The fatal crash continues to be investigated by the Bell County Police.
