Authorities identified 21-year-old Adrian Marquez, of Pacoima, as the man who lost his life following a traffic collision that also injured two other people on Wednesday in Chatsworth.
The fatal multi-vehicle accident took place a little before 8:40 p.m. in the 9900 block of Winnetka Avenue. According to the officials, 21-year-old Adrian Marquez suffered major injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
Emergency responders transported two people to the hospital with serious injuries. The events that have led up to the deadly wreck remain unclear at this time. The identities of the injured victims have not been revealed. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
