The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle crash near Tulare on Wednesday Morning.
According to the officials, the crash took place at around 3 a.m in which multiple people were injured including children. The accident occurred on Highway 99 near Avenue 260.
The CHP stated that the bus was travelling north on 99 when it got off the roads. The bus went over the chain fence following a crash on the side of the Horizon Nut Processor parking lot.
Among the 34 passengers on board, 21 of them were taken to 3 different hospitals in Tulare, Visalia and Hanford with minor to moderate injuries. According to the officials, many of the passengers were children.
The bus is believed to be travelling from Bakersfield to Fresno when it crashed.
Further investigation is going on.
The identities of the passengers are unavailable.
