A 20-year-old man from Pineville, Missouri, died in a single-vehicle crash on Rains Road about a half-mile north of Jane, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash happened the evening of July 25, 2026, at approximately 6:17 p.m., the Patrol's online crash report states. The driver, the only occupant of the vehicle, was operating a 2007 Dodge Caliber traveling eastbound at the time of the crash.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the driver sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were reported involved.
