2 Persons Injured In A Single-Vehicle Crash In Constantine Township (St. Joseph County, MI)

St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single-vehicle crash that severely injured a Grand Rapids Resident Wednesday evening in Constantine Township.

The crash happened at 5:15 p.m on North River Road and Winding River road.

Deputy reports that a 23-year-old driver from San Jose, California, ran off the road to the right while driving east on North River Road.

The driver lost control of the vehicle as it over-corrected, slid sideways, and hit a tree on the passenger’s side.

The 25-year-old passenger from Grand Rapids was airlifted to the hospital in severe condition and the driver was admitted for minor injuries. 

According to the deputies, both wore a seatbelt during the time of the crash.

Alcohol or drugs does not seem to be a factor involved in the crash.

No additional information regarding the crash.
