On Monday night, a police pursuit with a murder suspect ended in a fiery crash on I-275. The chase started near Fenkell and Beaverland, and the crash occurred near the 6-mile exit.
Loren Hedges from the police department reported that the SUV’s driver lost control and hit a curb. The SUV proceeded to collide with street signs, which caused the vehicle to run offroad and roll down an embankment. The driver was ejected from the car.
Two men, one 25 years old and the other 46 years old, are in custody following the chase and crash.
The suspects are being treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
