2 Persons Died In A Wrong-Way Crash In Sandy Springs (Sandy Springs, GA)

Roswell Police responded to a wrong-way crash along Georgia 400 in Sandy Springs that claimed two lives.

The crash happened along the southbound lanes near Riverside Road and mile marker 14 before 6 a.m. The highway remained closed for further investigations, and the traffic was diverted off the Holcomb bridge. 

Before locating the head-on crash south of the river, Roswell Police responded to a wrong-way driver near Roberts Drive. 

Roswell Police Department spokesperson reported lifesaving measures to one driver who died later because of the injuries. 

Both the drivers involved died in the crash. No other passengers were located in the car, confirmed the authorities.

The drivers were identified as 32-year-old Damis Lider from Clarkston and 24-year-old Zoe Robinson from Sandy Springs.
