2 People Were Injured In A Multi-Vehicle Crash in Georgia (Dade County, GA)

The Georgia State Patrol reported 3 multi-vehicle crashes on I-24. Two individuals were rushed to the hospital with injuries. 

The stoppage of the traffic led to 3 separate crashes. The first crash occurred when a Dodge truck hit a Ford Focus. The vehicle further hit a box truck leading to another crash with a Freightliner. 

A GMC truck travelled off the road and struck the embankment of the highway. This was the second crash that happened on I-24. 

The third crash occurred when a Jeep failed to stop in time for the traffic ahead. It crashed into  Buick and a Peterbilt truck. 

The driver and passenger of the Jeep were rushed to the hospital with injuries from the crash. 

I-24 East between Tennessee and I-59 was shut down following the crashes according to the Sheriff’s Office. 

The investigation is going on.
