2 People Killed In A Multi-Vehicle Accident in Grimes County (Grimes County, TX)

The Texas Department of Public Safety reported a three-vehicle accident on Tuesday. 

The accident occurred on Highway 90, near CR 409 at around 4:45 p.m. 

According to the officials, a 2001 Ford F-250 was traveling north when it crossed into the southbound lanes and hit a 2006 Toyota Tacoma in the rear and a 2004 Chevrolet pickup head-on. 

The driver of the Ford, identified as 63-year-old David Duggan, was critically injured and pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 17-year-old Matthew Pope, was also critically injured and pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver of the Toyota was not injured. 

The cause of the fatal accident is still being investigated.
