2 People Killed In A Motorcycle Accident In South Chelan (Chelan, WA)

The Washington State Patrol reported a motorcycle accident on Saturday night south of Chelan. 

According to the officials, the accident occurred when two people travelling on a motorcycle tried to avoid hitting a cougar on the road. The motorcyclists were going southbound on the vehicle. 

According to the Police, both the victims were pronounced dead at the scene. One of the passengers was found on the side of the guardrail while the other was found near an embarkment. 

The incident happened on SR 971 south of Chelan. 

The incident is being investigated by the Washington State Patrol. 

The officials have not disclosed the identities of the victims.
