On Tuesday morning, New Mexico State Police responded to a motor vehicle crash that killed two people. The crash happened on US 380 and Red Bridge Road at 4:30 a.m.
According to the police, a semi was heading westbound on US 380 when the driver missed his turn. The driver tried to pull back onto Red Bridge road.
Police said a car driven by Arlie Plunk Jr., 89, struck the truck while driving eastbound. His passenger, 83-year-old Billie J Plunk, also died in the crash.
The semi-driver remained uninjured from the crash.
Additional information regarding the crash is currently unavailable. An investigation into the crash is under review.
