2 People Killed In A Motor-Vehicle Accident In San Jose (San Jose, CA)

According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident occurred in San Jose on Tuesday afternoon. 

The crash happened near the Hellyer Road offramp from northbound Highway 101 at around 3:09 p.m. 

The officials stated that the vehicle was traveling northbound on 101, drove off the right side of the highway, and crashed on Coyote Road. 

The driver of the car along with the passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver was identified as a 64-year-old man, whereas the identity of the passenger is yet to be revealed. 

The officials are investigating whether drugs, alcohol, distracted driving, or speed played a factor in the crash. 

No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
