According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a motor vehicle accident occurred in Madera County on Saturday. The crash happened near Avenue 18 ½ at around 5:10 p.m.
According to the investigators, a Toyota C-HR and two unknown people were involved in the collision. The driver of the Toyota turned the steering wheel to the right, left the road, and crashed into a creek embankment. The officials stated that the Toyota overturned, landed on the roof, and caught fire.
Both the driver and the passenger suffered significant injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have not been disclosed by the authorities.
The accident is being investigated by the authorities. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. Additional information regarding the fatal crash is not available currently.
