According to the South Los Angeles Police, a hit-and-run accident involving four vehicles occurred at the intersection of Manchester Avenue and Broadway.
The officials stated that a man and a woman in their 30s were pronounced dead at the scene following the collision.
The crash happened shortly after 4 a.m. when a green Cadillac was speeding westbound on Manchester. The collision occurred when the driver of the Cadillac failed to stop at the red light and struck the vehicle. The victim’s car was pushed into the semi-truck.
The identities of the victims were not released by the Los Angeles Police.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the Los Angeles Police.
