Georgia State Patrol is investigating a car crash on Highway 76 in Georgia. The head-on collision happened around 3:14 p.m., according to Lt. Michael Burns with Georgia State Patrol.
A preliminary investigation into the crash reveals a car was traveling west when it failed to travel in the same lane. It then crossed over the center line and struck a pickup truck.
The car driver and the passenger were pronounced dead on the scene.
The pickup truck occupants were airlifted to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
