On Sunday evening, two people lost their lives while one person received serious injuries following a rollover crash in Sunflower.
As per the initial information, the fatal traffic collision took place at about 6 p.m. on SR-87 at milepost 219, between Fort McDowell and Payson. The early reports showed that a car flipped over on the southbound lanes of the SR-87, which is near the ghost town of Sunflower. The car ended up in a nearby creek, officials reported.
Two people were killed and one person suffered injuries as a result of the collision. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time.
