Two people lost their lives and another was left in critical condition after a traffic accident Saturday night in Willowbrook.
As per the initial information, the fatal crash took place on West El Segundo Boulevard and South Main Street at around 9:45 p.m. The early reports showed that a car slammed into a pole. The reports further indicated that people were pinned inside the car as a result of the collision.
Officials confirmed that two people were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Another person, who is in critical condition, was rushed to a local trauma center for treatment. According to some reports, the incident happened as the vehicle was being pursued by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies.
Authorities later confirmed that a vehicle slammed into a pole while it was being pursued by a deputy from the Compton station. The identities of the victims have not been released at this time. No other information is available.
