2 people killed after a hit-and-run crash in San Jose (San Jose, CA)

On Thursday night, two pedestrians lost their lives after being hit by a vehicle in San Jose.

As per the initial information, the fatal hit-and-run crash was reported just before 6:30 p.m. in the area of Ocala Avenue and Oakton Court. That is a few blocks from Reid-Hillview Airport. The preliminary investigation indicated that a vehicle struck two pedestrian while they were walking in the area.

On arrival, emergency personnel rushed both the victims to local hospitals where they were later declared dead. The driver of the involved vehicle drove away from the scene after the collision. Authorities have not provided a description of the suspect or the hit-and-run vehicle at this time. No other details are available.

The incident remains under active review.
