According to the California Highway Patrol, a motor vehicle accident occurred in Sacramento on Tuesday.
The crash happened north on I-5 near Hood Franklin Road at around 12:15 a.m.
The officials stated that a 2006 Toyota was involved in the crash killing two people and injuring two others.
The driver of the car was headed north near Franklin road, lost control, and swerved off, overturning the vehicle several times.
A 21-year-old Elk Grove was identified as the driver of the car and was rushed to the hospital, later pronounced dead at the scene.
The right rear passenger in the car was identified as a 20-year-old man. He got ejected from the car and was pronounced dead at the scene following the collision.
The front and the left rear passenger suffered major injuries during the crash.
No additional information regarding the fatal crash was provided by the Deputies.
