2 People Injured In Single Vehicle Crash In Knoxville (Knoxville, TN)

The Knoxville Police Department is investigating a single-vehicle crash in Knoxville.

According to the authorities, 32-year-old Stefanie Wilkes was intoxicated after drinking at The Pint House on Merchant Drive.

She then got into her car and backed into a sign at the front of the bar. Subsequently, she speedily crashed into the building. 2 people who were sitting at the bar at that time, were injured due to the crash. 

Police officials confirmed that they could smell alcohol on her when they walked her to the cruiser and proceeded to tow away Wilkes’ car from the bar.

Wilkes was later charged with driving under the influence and reckless endangerment among several other charges.
